Doing what’s best for kids includes providing facilities, systems and training that ensure a safe and secure learning environment for everyone.  To ensure that kind of environment and piece of mind, American Prep has developed and is continually evaluating robust and comprehensive safety and security programs.  From building design to advanced multi-layer security systems; from a combination of in-house and professional custodial services to highly trained and experienced maintenance personnel; and from playground safety to school-wide advanced lockdown training and techniques, American Prep is committed to being a leader in school safety and security.  American Prep meets or exceeds all controlling regulations and requirements for a Utah public school.

Comprehensive Emergency Response Plans are prepared and practiced on a regular basis. In the event that the school premises must be evacuated, staff will escort students to a safe location. Once students are located to a safe location, staff members will contact guardians and/or other approved adults from the family registration cards.
