Hello Salem APA Families!
We have a special request to make of all our parents and staff. This is the last year we will receive the federal funding that we have received since COVID. This means that we will be faced with cutting programs or staff positions UNLESS we can add students to our schools. We prefer to add students! But to do this, we need your help! Over 90% of new students hear about our school through friends or family members. This means that YOU are our BEST AMBASSADORS! We have opened new classes at our schools for next year and need to increase enrollment by 300 students district-wide. We currently have about 5,000 students and we need 5,300 in order to keep our programs in place.
On Friday we sent home a flyer with your child. Please take a picture of it and send it to as many people as you can. The flyer will also be attached to Monday’s newsletter. Campuses will be holding evening open houses after spring break. The flyer has a QR code that lists the Open House dates, times and addresses. THANK YOU FOR YOU HELP IN BRINGING APA TO 300 MORE LUCKY STUDENTS!
In Salem we are accepting applications for all grades, but have at least 10 seats available next year for 7th grade, so if you know of any families looking for a great choice for their junior high student, be sure to give or text them a flyer!
