There is something so deeply rewarding about this builders theme as we watch your children fall into the rhythm of kigatsuku. Imagine the energy and influence of an entire community of kigatsuku as we work toward something better than just ourselves. Imagine doing it without reward or compensation. Virtual Parent Empowerment Night-Bonus!
We invite all APA parents to join us online for a bonus Parent Power Empowerment Night focused on Financial Awareness on Tuesday, December 9th. This valuable evening will be hosted by our GEAR UP coordinator, Dr. Heidi Sanders. GEAR UP, which stands for Gaining Early Awareness and Readiness for Undergraduate Programs, is a federal grant initiative designed to prepare all middle and high school students for success in college. During this informational night, Dr. Sanders will share critical knowledge about financial literacy, offering a comprehensive guide to personal finance that covers everything from effective budgeting and investment strategies to responsible debt management and establishing solid financial goals for the future. This is a powerful opportunity to gain the practical insights necessary to build a foundation of financial resilience for your entire family and prepare your student for long-term success. We Can Care Donation Drive
We CAN Care! So far, we have collected 410 food items. Wahoo! It has been so exciting to see how much we can accomplish as we all work together. We can be advocates for those in our community who need us, and that is a very important part of being a builder and an ambassador for good.
Let’s finish strong–keep bringing in those food items! The drive will end on Thursday, December 18th! If we make our goal as a campus, we’ll celebrate with a casual dress day on Friday, December 19th.
APA Re-Enrollment for 2026-2027 is OPEN!
Your student’s seat for the upcoming 2026-2027 school year is guaranteed, but requires two mandatory and time-sensitive steps to confirm. Completing both steps ensures your child’s continuous enrollment.
The Two-Step Re-Enrollment Process
Step 1: Complete Skyward Online Re-Enrollment (Opens Today!)
- When: The re-enrollment window is December 1st, 2025, through January 1st, 2026.
- Action: Log in to your Skyward Family Access account starting today, click the 2026-2027 Re-Enrollment Registration button, and fill out the required information for each student.
- Deadline: This step must be completed by January 1st, 2026.
Step 2: Attend the Celebration of Excellence
- What: This is a crucial mandatory meeting where parents come together to receive a report from the School Director on the outstanding accomplishments of our students and staff throughout the year. It’s a key opportunity for parents to stay informed and celebrate our successes!
- When: Meetings are scheduled for the following dates and times.

Open Enrollment for 2026-27: Help us Spread The Word With Your Friends and Neighbors
The priority window for sibling enrollment is now closed. We thank all of our current APA families who took swift action to secure seats for their new students! We are still accepting campus transfer requests until December 15th, so please submit your request right away if you wish to transfer to another APA campus for next year.
We are now officially accepting applications for new, non-APA students for the 2026-27 school year! If you have friends, neighbors, or acquaintances interested in the academic opportunities at American Prep, please encourage them to apply now. They can ensure their application is included in the public lottery by submitting it during this open enrollment period.
