April Builders Theme: I am a builder when I face obstacles with determination and positivity.

Virtual School Fun Run – Register by April 30!
Get ready to lace up those sneakers for our Virtual School Fun Run! Whether you walk, jog, or sprint, join us for a fun and active way to support our school community—right from your own neighborhood or favorite trail.
The event is open to all students, families, and staff. Complete your run anytime between May 1–17, and don’t forget to share your photos and videos with us by emailing us at salemevents@apamail.org or tagging us on social media: #SalemFunRun2025.

7th/8th Grade Ball – Many Thanks!
Thank you to all the parents volunteers who helped set up and take down for our Ambassador Ball. It was beautiful, and the students had so much fun! Our district team commented that it was the fastest they had ever taken down an event – they were overwhelmed by the amount of parent help we received. THANK YOU!
Uniform Reminder
As the weather gets warmer, it is recommended and highly encouraged that girls wear biker shorts under their skirts and jumpers.

Parent Advisory and Land Trust Committee- Submit application by May 9th
Every school must have a Parent Advisory Committee (PAC) comprising of school administration and parents, with parents being the majority of the committee. The PAC meets 4 times per year and participates in reviewing the Annual School Plan, in deciding how the Land Trust monies will be spent, and other matters important to our students at American Preparatory Academy.
Our annual Parent Advisory Committee (PAC) elections are coming up and we are looking for volunteers to serve for the 2025-2026 school year. There are no term limits; as long as the volunteer has students enrolled in the school and is actively participating, they are welcome to continue serving on the committee.
If you are interested, please contact the Land Trust staff at landtrust@apamail.org no later than Friday, May 9, 2025 at 4pm.
Please include:
- Your name
- The campus you are running for
- Your students name and grade
- Your phone number and email address
- A short (70 words or less) paragraph on why you are interested in being on the committee.
The ballot link will go home as the last page of the May 19 newsletter and elections will run through Wednesday, May 21. The 2025-26 committee names will be posted in your campus’ May 26 newsletter.

Pelota de 7.º/8.º grado: ¡Muchas gracias!
Gracias a todos los padres voluntarios que ayudaron a montar y desmontar nuestro Ambassador Ball. ¡Fue hermoso y los estudiantes se divirtieron mucho!
